"Party Down" is having a reunion, but it's not exactly what fans have hoped for.
According to EW, Lizzy Caplan, Adam Scott, Ken Marino, Martin Starr and Ryan Hansen will reunite on stage at SF Sketchfest. The San Francisco Comedy Festival will bring the cast together on Saturday, Feb. 9 as part of the festivities taking place between Jan. 24 and Feb. 10.
The "Party Down" cast isn't the only TV reunion at Sketchfest. "The Adventures of Pete and Pete" will celebrate its 20th anniversary on Jan. 25 at the comedy festival. Other TV stars in attendance during the festival include Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein as part of a celebration of "Portlandia," Paget Brewster, Rider Strong, Maya Rudolph, Gillian Jacobs and "Pinky and the Brain" voice actors Maurice LaMarche and Rob Paulsen.
After its two-season run on Starz, "Party Down" found new life on Netflix. The cast and crew have all spoken out about wanting to reunite for a movie.
"We have high hopes for the 'Party Down' movie, but everybody went ahead and got super busy since its cancellation," Caplan said during a Reddit AMA. "So I'm not sure when it will go down ... but I'm confident it WILL go down."
