You're probably sick of hearing about Beyonce-gate by now, so let's turn our attention to someone who actually sang at the Inauguration.

Kelly Clarkson gave a fantastic live performance of "My Country, 'Tis of Thee" at Monday's Presidential Inauguration and she clearly owes it all to stuffed mushrooms.

The 30-year-old singer and her friends dined at Buca di Beppo in D.C. the night before her performance, spending $230 on "lasagna, bruschetta, stuffed mushrooms, half-pound meatballs, spaghetti, chicken parmigiana," according to TMZ.

It's more than obvious that Clarkson's meal aided her in such a stellar performance. So obvious in fact, we're pretty sure Beyonce is kicking herself for not joining Kelly at dinner and thus negating the need to lip-sync.
