Miss Alabama Katherine Webb is an Auburn alum. Given her alma mater's rivalry with University of Alabama, you'd think she might think twice about dating 'Bama quarterback AJ McCarron.

Opposites attract, right? In this case, it's particularly easy to see how. Webb and McCarron certainly make a good-looking couple.
But enough with all that cuddly stuff. The real question is: Will the recently revealed relationship stir up some voodoo as McCarron leads Alabama to the BCS National Championship against Notre Dame?
We jest. Others do not. In fact, the Ledger-Inquirer got "a necessary disclaimer" from Webb once the relationship was announced.
“I’m not trying to sabotage Alabama,” Webb, who confirmed her relationship Friday, told the newspaper. "Honestly, it's just a game."
But that sentiment hasn't stopped Webb from tweeting her support for Alabama.
The Alabama Crimson Tide is favored to win a second straight national title, but according to Bleacher Report, it'd be unwise to expect Notre Dame's defense to knuckle under.
"We are more than convinced that the Crimson Tide will roll to a second straight national title, but it would be foolish to lay 9.5 points against the best defense in the country," the website noted, commenting on the championship game's spread.
