"Hunger is not an issue of charity. It is an issue of justice."
-- Jacques Diouf
The holiday season is filled with so many positive things: family, friends, festivity, gifts, great food.
But what if you didn't have enough to eat? What if you were a child who didn't have enough to eat?
* 1 out of 5 children in the United States, or 16 million kids, struggle with hunger
* 62 percent of America's teachers regularly see kids who come to school hungry because they're not getting enough to eat
* Kids suffering from hunger are more likely to miss school and have problems with academics
But just $1 can connect a child to up to 10 meals. What a great way to make a positive impact on the world, and precious kids, this time of year! And anytime.

How can you help?
You can take the pledge, make a donation and share the cause with your social networks, friends, and family.
And December 20 is Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry Give-A-Thon! Make 12/20 the day we all remember we can work together to help make sure there's #NoKidHungry by spreading the love (and the hashtag!) to help end childhood hunger.

Give a child the gift of health and security this holiday season, and give a little gift to help make sure there's No Kid Hungry. Every dollar, tweet, post, pledge and mention to your friends makes a difference!
