Noise Pop 2013 Lineup Announced: Toro y Moi, Grandaddy's Jason Lytle, Thao And More

Is This The Best Noise Pop Festival Lineup Yet?

On any given week, good music can be found all across San Francisco. Even so, there's something special about the annual Noise Pop Festival.

For over two decades now, San Francisco's own expertly curated version of South By Southwest not only brings in some of the most exciting indie artists from around the world, but also gives local music lovers an excuse to go out and binge on live music. Going to four concerts in five days would seem insane during a normal week, but during Noise Pop, it's just par for the course.

The festival's organizers have announced the preliminary lineup and it's definitely a doozy. The schedule boasts performances by slick chillwavers Toro y Moi, Modesto favorite son Jason Lytle and local powerhouse Thao & The Get Down Stay Down along with film screenings featuring Antony Hegarty and indie-rock legends Archers of Loaf.
