Strip Club Shooting Injures Two In Miami Gardens (VIDEO)

Gunfire At Strip Club

Two people including a dancer were injured when shots rang out at a Northeast Miami-Dade strip club Wednesday morning.

The incident occurred just east of Miami Gardens at The Office Gentlemen's Club on Miami Gardens Drive.

Miami-Dade police say around 4:15 a.m., a man was engaged in a heated scuffle with a bouncer which quickly escalated. The man then got into a red Toyota Camry and shot his handgun toward the establishment. Police immediately responded to the scene, giving an all-clear.

But just before 5 a.m., the suspect reportedly returned in the Toyota and opened fire with a rifle, striking the bouncer and a woman identified as a stripper in a CBS Miami report.

Both victims were transported to the trauma unit at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, with the bouncer sustaining a puncture wound to the arm and the woman with a possible bullet graze on her face.

The shooter remains at large, and is described as a heavyset black male in his 20s with dreadlocks.

Two years ago, a man was killed and two other patrons injured when gunfire rang out at another Miami Gardens strip club, the nearby Mint Lounge.
