'Lone Ranger' Trailer 2: Johnny Depp, Armie Hammer & One 'Very Wrong' Horse (VIDEO)

WATCH: Johnny Depp Seeks Justice In 'The Lone Ranger'

Hi-yo, Silver and other manner of earth-dwelling beasts. The full "Lone Ranger" trailer has arrived, with Johnny Depp starring as Tonto and Armie Hammer playing the titular masked avenger. Alternate lede: There will be horses, especially ones that can communicate with Depp.

Expanding on the first "Lone Ranger" trailer which debuted this summer, the full-length clip offers more insight on the film's plot: Ambushed and left for dead, John Reid (Hammer) teams up with Tonto to seek justice, revenge and all other forms of Old West platitudes. The duo is helped by Silver, Reid's trusty horse, as well as Depp's patented Jack Sparrow-y smirks. That's no accident, of course: "The Lone Ranger" comes from director Gore Verbinski, with whom Depp made three "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies along with "Rango."

"It's a dysfunctional buddy movie," Verbinski told USA Today about his new film. "It's two guys who start literally and figuratively handcuffed together who end up on the same mission with completely different world views. They sort of rub off on one another. But they have plenty of disagreements."

Indeed. Watch the full "Lone Ranger" trailer above. The blockbuster -- which cost a reported $250 million to produce and shot over 150 days -- is out in theaters on July 3, 2013. Head over to Apple to check out the clip in HD.
