Latino Boxing Legends: Hector 'Macho' Camacho, Juan Manuel Marquez And Other Hispanic Boxers In The Ring (SLIDESHOW)

The death of legendary Puerto Rican boxer Hector “Macho” Camacho sparked a sudden interest in the careers of prominent Latino boxing icons.

Names like Juan Manuel Marquez and Miguel Cotto, who will face opponents Manny Pacquiao and Austin Trout in coming weeks, are only a few examples of the Latinos who have opted for boxing as a lifestyle, and in most cases as their golden ticket to fame and success. While some excel before and after they hung up their gloves, others fall into the trap of alcohol and drugs. Most of them, however, carry the pride and accomplishments of remaining legends long after the bell rings.
