On this week's podcast, Joel and Ron get all highbrow with Timothy Standring, curator of painting and sculpture at the Denver Art Museum and driving force behind the new blockbuster exhibit, "Becoming Van Gogh."

The three also dissect the hullabaloo that's erupted over the Johnny Cash-turned-Jerry-Garcia mural on East 13 Avenue, and what it says about iconography, public versus private art ownership and Denver's mural scene in general.
Just to throw a little of their typical lowbrow into the mix, Joel and Ron also celebrate the cinematic masterwork that is Strange Brew, bemoan (slightly) the loss of Red Dawn as a Colorado point of pride and attempt to add a new phrase to the bar-brawl lexicon: "I have fists of fury like Ken Salazar."
