'2012 American Music Awards': Justin Bieber Brings His Mom Onstage, Wins Three Awards (VIDEO)

2012 AMAs: Justin Bieber Wins Big, Brings Mom Onstage

It was a huge night for Justin Bieber at "The 40th Anniversary American Music Awards" as the pop start took home three awards, including the final one of the night for Artist of the Year. He also won the first award of the night -- for Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist. Bieber's third win was for Favorite Pop/Rock Album for "Believe."

Bieber began the night by commenting on his haters during his first speech. "This is all the haters who thought maybe I was just here for one or two years. I feel like I’m gonna be here for a very long time," he declared.

For that final award, though, Bieber closed things on a much more uplifting note. Without Selena Gomez by his side throughout the night, Bieber was joined by his mother. He pulled her onstage for that last award and introduced her to the world.

"This is my mom. She’s little, but she’s beautiful," he said. "It’s hard growing up with everything going on, with everyone watching me. I wanna always make you proud."

She had to have been proud of her son's big night. As for all those haters? Considering the results of this show are based on fans voting online, there must not be that many of them ... or they're vastly outnumbers by his Beliebers.
