Johnny Manziel irrevocably altered the national championship picture by leading Texas A&M to a stunning upset win over Alabama in Tuscaloosa. The fresh-faced redshirt freshman also scrambled his way into the Heisman Trophy race with a mesmerizing performance against the fearsome Crimson Tide defense.

"No moment is too big for him," Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin told reporters after the game, via The Associated Press.

Manziel and the Aggies' offense hung 29 points on Alabama, a team that had not surrendered more than 17 points in any previous game this season. The dual-threat 19-year-old QB who has been dubbed "Johnny Football" completed 24 of 31 passes for 253 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for a team-high 92 yards on 18 carries.

After this epic performance, a new nickname began proliferating on Twitter: Heismanziel. Although HeismanPundit.com still believes that Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein will lift the trophy in New York, the groundswell for Manziel is growing.

"He's been doing it all season, to almost everyone, in the country's most brutal defensive conference," wrote CBS Sports columnist Gregg Doyel, addressing Heisman voters. "So do the right thing. Give Manziel the trophy he has earned."

While Manziel may have delivered the most talked about Week 11 effort, his was hardly the only outstanding performance. Here are more than a dozen collegians who earned A's on Saturday.
