Britney Spears: Mario Lopez 'Would Be A Great Backup Dancer'

While Mario Lopez turned down the opportunity to appear on "Dancing With The Stars: All Stars" earlier this year, the "X Factor" co-host may be given another shot to show off his moves.

When chatting with "Extra" about the possibility of "X Factor" judge Britney Spears performing during the series' season finale, Lopez made a suggestion: “If she performs she should do it with that big snake that she did with the MTV Video Music Awards,” he said, referring to her python-enhanced rendition of "I'm a Slave 4 U" in 2001. He added, “I'll be one of her backup dancers.”

Spears replied, “And a tiger, and an elephant as well! I think Mario would be a great backup dancer. Maybe he could have like a rip-away and then have a thong underneath. That would be really cool.”

It's no surprise Spears was on board with the idea, as neither Lopez nor his "Saved By the Bell" alter ego, A.C. Slater, has ever had trouble persuading the ladies to dance with him. And if Britney did need convincing, we'd recommend busting out the moves he used on Kelly Kapowski at the Max.
