Forget kilts and tartan prints, Scotland's hottest designers made a stopover in Chicago to showcase their latest collections that spanned couture womenswear, jewelry, and interior design.

In conjunction with Pop UP Art Loop, a Chicago Loop Alliance Initiative, Scotland Re:Designed featured knitwear by Eribé, Harris Tweed and vintage lace outfits by Judy R. Clark, Obscure Couture's avant-garde creations, screen-printed dresses and interior design pieces by Iona Crawford, and eccentric accessories by Red Brick.

The standout pieces I particularly loved (which can be seen in the slideshow below) included a gorgeous sky blue lace dress in Edwardian fashion by Judy R. Clark, Iona Crawdford's mirror image black swan silk dresses, a jersey knit gold and black column dress by Obscure Couture, and a quirky laboratory-themed scarf featuring fetuses and mice with human ears.
