Anna Kendrick Recreates The Cup Song From 'Pitch Perfect' On 'Late Show With David Letterman' (VIDEO)

Anna Kendrick Sings 'You're Gonna Miss Me' From 'Pitch Perfect'

One of the more memorable scenes from "Pitch Perfect" is when Anna Kendrick performs the song "You're Gonna Miss Me," complete with the cup percussion technique used by Lulu and the Lampshades. And it turns out, she had mastered that particular skill on her own, and it was added into the film because she could do it. So, of course, when she was on "Late Show," David Letterman pulled out a plastic cup.

Of course, she obliged him and proved she still knew both the words to the song, and the proper motions with the cup. Impressed, Letterman coaxed his audience into giving her a standing ovation for the impromptu performance.

And Kendrick is getting rave reviews for "Pitch Perfect" as well. The film is expanding nationwide, while "Late Show with David Letterman" is on CBS every weeknight at 11:35 p.m. ET.
