Man Robs Bank After Failed Attempt The Day Before: Cops

If at first you don't succeed ...

A man is reportedly accused of robbing a Hudson, Ohio bank a day after failing to steal from one in Chagrin Falls.

In his first attempt on Sunday, cops said the unidentified man tried to rob Huntington Bank in Chagrin Falls, only to be told that the teller had just left to go to the bathroom and had taken the key to the cash drawer with her.

The Sun News reports that the unidentified robber told the bank's customer service representative to "stop stalling" and hand over the money. But he eventually decided to leave empty handed.

The next day, Yahoo! News reported that the same man is suspected of going into North Main Street US Bank in Hudson. This time, he allegedly brandished a pistol and successfully made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to NewsNet5.

Yahoo! News notes that, in both instances, the man is described as wearing a sports coat, collared shirt and Cleveland Browns baseball cap.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call the Akron FBI office at 330-535-6156.
