Usher Orders Tameka Raymond To Vacate His Property In 60 Days

Usher Sends Tameka Packing With 60 Days Notice

It appears that Usher has no plans on rekindling his romance with ex-wife Tameka Raymond.

Following his much talked about interview with Oprah Winfrey last month, discussing his child custody battle and divorce to the former stylist, the Grammy Award winner has reportedly ordered Raymond to vacate his property in two months.

According to TMZ, the singer’s lawyer has sent Raymond a letter informing her that Usher is selling the suburban Georgia home that he purchased in 2007 for $3 million. As per the former couple’s 2009 divorce settlement, Raymond was granted to live at the 12,000 sq. ft. home, in which the “Climax” singer could put on the market at anytime as long as he gave 41-year-old 60 days notice.

The news comes as another blow for Raymond who has been engaged in an ongoing public feud with the R&B star since their divorce. In recent weeks she responded to Usher’s claims of her being a “gold-digger” and using him for his money during an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight.

"[This] is the typical stereotype," she said. "If a woman who has lesser means -- even if she is successful and hard-working, does her thing in her own right -- marries someone, what they'll call 'marrying up,' who has more money, they're automatically a gold digger."
