Newberry Library Celebrates 125th Anniversary With Exhibition Of 125 Treasures (PHOTOS)

As it commemorates its 125th anniversary of existence, Chicago's Newberry Library has curated a special exhibition centered on 125 of the most fascinating materials included in its collection.

According to the library, the items featured in the exhibition -- simply titled "The Newberry 125" -- center on some of its "most immediately awe-inspiring and most utilized, consulted, pored over."

The Newberry 125, a free exhibition, opened earlier this month and runs through Dec. 31 in the library's Hermon Dunlap Smith and East galleries, 60 W. Walton St.
