Joy Behar Calls Out 'Real Housewives'

On the day Gore Vidal died, "The View" host Joy Behar found a modern-day application for his famous quote, "Whenever a friend succeeds, a little something in me dies." Behar applied the saying to the "Real Housewives" in biting fashion.

"Every time a 'Housewife' releases a CD, a little something in me dies. I have to admit it. Because it's like, these poeple who have no talent who don't really work for it, they get all this money, you have to admit it, it's annoying. So when they're off television, good." Behar was probably referring to New Jersey "Housewife" Melissa Gorga, the latest of the reality stars to venture into the music industry.

As for Behar, she's having plenty of her own success lately. Her new weeknight show, "Joy Behar: Say Anything" premieres on Current TV September 4th.

TV Replay scours the vast television landscape to find the most interesting, amusing, and, on a good day, amazing moments, and delivers them right to your browser.
