Venomous Spiders Infest Dylan Baumann's Apartment (VIDEO)

Eek! Spider Invasion!

Good thing Dylan Baumann isn't arachnophobic. Scores of venomous spiders have infested his apartment -- and six visits by the exterminator haven't fixed the problem, according to reports.

Baumann, of Omaha, Neb., plans to move out in September. He's already spotted 40 of the eight-legged invaders, called brown recluse spiders.

"I saw them crawling across my walls, crawling along my floor boards and saw it crawling by my foot," Baumann told KETV.

The bite of a brown recluse spider is rarely fatal but it leaves a painful wound, noted the Daily Mail.

Although it's not aggressive, the brown recluse spider is one of the most dangerous spiders in Nebraska, along with black widows, KETV reported. The creepy crawlies are multiplying because of the warm winter and scorching summer, one expert said.

Baumann told FoxNews.com he's trying to get to know his toxic roomies. "When you live with something, you want to find out as much as you can about it," he said.

He discovered that the brown recluse spiders are bad climbers, so he has a sanctuary of sorts in his bed, which is elevated by metal posts. He also puts down glue traps and shakes out his clothes and shoes to avoid being bitten. So far, so good. "It's terrifying just thinking that might happen to me," he told the TV station.
