Jokes Through The Ages: 'That's What She Said' Explained (VIDEO)

If you've seen an episode of "The Office," you're probably familiar with the "that's what she said" joke. All it takes is a mildly suggestive setup (ex: "I don't think I'll come tonight") followed by the ever reliable punchline: "That's what she said."

But where did this thing come from? It went from non-existent to your uncle's go-to zinger at family parties in no time flat, but there's no clear pinpoint as to its exact origins.

Luckily, Official Comedy was able to sit down with comedians Julie Klausner, Ilana Glazer, Max Silvestri and Dave Hill to get to the bottom of things. It's episode one of their new web-series "Jokes Through the Ages," and if this first one is any indicator, we're all in for a lot of very legitimate fact-learning.
