NEW YORK, June 26 (Reuters) - U.S. authorities on Tuesday said 24 suspected hackers had been arrested in a worldwide sting operation targeting illegal trafficking of credit card information.
The two-year operation prevented $205 million in potential losses on hundreds of thousands of compromised credit and debit cards, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and federal prosecutors in Manhattan said. (Reporting By Basil Katz; Editing by Gary Hill)
