In a look into the modern women's entrepreneur trend, it seems that all New Power Girls live, think and do bigger. I'm not sure if there's some type of brain scan that could detect it, but it's almost hard wired into every woman I know who is successful in business.

Power Girls see the vision, then beyond from there.

It's like a wide lens view of what's possible at all times, everywhere. It isn't just being a serial entrepreneur but aiming to sell projects in multiple related markets. It's not only appearing on television, but nailing one spot that leads to a few that leads to a contract, then a book, then paid speaking and the possibilities are endless.

Personal trainer Jenna Phillips has already seen success with her workout programs in Los Angeles, but won't be stopping there. Kathryn Finney's taking her Budgetfashionista.com site to the next level and beyond with a second book, speaking engagements and hosting one of Fashion Week's hottest parties this past year.

They join hundreds of women I know with an eye on a similar prize in business: high level success. Women's entrepreneurship in the past has often been in said to focus "soft" businesses, which generate a giant $2.38 trillion in revenue to the U.S. economy. However, today's driven girls have their sights fixed on this and beyond. They expand on the legacy of women who've opened the doors of the past to reach for the sky more than ever.

In other words, Power Girls don't just think, "Yes We Can" but "I Just Did, and I'm Going to Do This, This and This, Too."

It's a dynamic trend. Perhaps a hybrid of Baby Boomer work ethic, 70s freedom, and the great women in business boom of the 80s and 90s, they're a deadly concoction of drive, ambition and an anything-is-possible mindset. What's interesting is that it goes beyond the business world into every corner of their lives. They have rich social lives and good friends, husbands, great families, and live comfortably. They love style, looking good, support social change, and most of all, are happy.

In fact, I'm pretty sure that the Power Girls in my world are some of the happiest, most satisfied women I've met.

It's doesn't come as a surprise. We're the first generation of entrepreneurs from the cross platform, device agnostic, multimedia world in which we live in. We've seen what a man can do, then what a woman can do. Now, we're taking cues from both to put our own stamp on business.

It's no wonder women today think big!
