HomeMint Design Contest: Justin Timberlake And Estee Stanley Want To See Your Home (VIDEO)

Why Justin Timberlake Wants To See Your Home

Right now in the design world, all eyes are on HomeMint, a new affordable line of home goods that's designed and curated by musician and actor Justin Timberlake and his decorator friend Estee Stanley. While the collection reflects Timberlake and Stanley's shared passion for the home, it's also about making design more accessible to everyone.

"With HomeMint, Justin and I are not only designing collections together, we’re also introducing people to exciting new artists and artisans that they may not have been familiar with before and then curating a collection from that," Stanley explains. Timberlake also adds, "I want to give emerging artists a chance to have their work showcased and discovered by our members."

This desire to uncover new talents in art and design is also precisely the idea behind HomeMint's next big venture -- and we have a helping hand.

In an exclusive series with Stylelist Home, HomeMint is kicking off a special photo contest that's open to all. And, it starts now!

The challenge? Timberlake and Stanley want to know what your home means to you in a photo, be it a snapshot of a heirloom furniture piece or an artful image of your favorite room.

The winning photo from the contest will be featured in a HomeMint coffee table book (on the cover and in a two-page story), which means there's a chance you could become HomeMint's next favorite emerging talent. It's all in keeping with Timberlake and Stanley's idea of putting the spotlight on up-and-coming designers and brands.

"Whether it’s a song or a photograph, art is such a personal thing," says Timberlake. "It’s incredible when you listen or view a work of art and feel like you are discovering it the same way the artist did."
