When Jamie Lynn Spears was born on April 4th, 1991, big sis Britney had already wowed audiences on "Star Search" and was well on her way to earning a spot on "The Mickey Mouse Club." As a pre-teen, Jamie Lynn stepped right into her role as America's little sister, posing on the red carpet in tennis shoes, crop tops and pedal pushers.
At age 16, the starlet's performance as all-American teen Zooey Brooks on "Zooey 101" was put to a halt when she announced her pregnancy with boyfriend Casey Aldridge. Spears subsequently announced her engagement and returned to her Louisiana hometown, leaving behind her newfound cocktail dresses to start a family.
The teen mom then shocked the nation once again in 2010 when she separated from Aldridge and moved to Nashville with daughter Maddie to pursue a career in music. Both of the Spears sisters have gone through quite a few changes since their all-American start, but Jamie Lynn seems to be all grown up these days and excited to step back into the spotlight to promote her upcoming country album.
