Hot On Pinterest: 5 Pinners To Follow Now

The 5 Pinterest Accounts To Follow This Week

In this installment of Hot On Pinterest, we sifted through a number of amazing Pinterest accounts to find our favorite five. From the personal expressions of one writer to a treasure trove of repurposed "junk", these are the Pinterest accounts you should follow -- now!

Maia McDonald: Graphic designer and Oakland resident Maia McDonald has achieved Pinterest glory with over 1 million followers -- and, we can see why! Her stylish boards highlight creative details and innovative design without being too eccentric or over the top. In fact, her "Home Inspiration" board is one of the best we've seen; every pin seems like there was a lot of thought put behind it.

Melanie Winer: This loyal Stylelist Home reader submitted her account to us, bringing our attention to her fun and artistic sense of style. She's inspired us to take on some furniture upholstery projects using similar patterns to the ones she features in her "Prints & Patterns I Adore" board. Her pins are more than just the usual chevron or stripe patterns. Instead, they're mesmerizing prints that would look as lovely on a blouse as it would on an accent pillow.

Jennifer Donatelli: First, let us just say how much we appreciate this Maryland-based writer's tagline: "Pinterest lets me fly my geek flag proudly with boards for writing, journalism, 'Star Wars', Wonder Woman, etc." We fully support how Pinterest encourages individual expression. And, we love this user's homage to pop-culture items of yesteryear in her "Childhood Nostalgia" board. Her pins there truly put a smile on our faces. If that isn't enough, check out her "Feel Good About Yourself" board. There'll be at least one pin you can relate to.

Northern Cottage: Awe pretty much describes our expressions when we browsed through this Pinterest account. With pins dedicated to relaxing, airy and adorable country spaces in boards like "Cottage Love" and "Farmhouse Fresh", we're ready to trade in our city digs for any of her charming cottage abodes.

Donna - Funky Junk Interiors: This blogger really has an eye for salvaged home finds. Beyond reclaimed wood and pallet-based furniture, she has a knack for finding pins of refurbished vintage pieces. We would want any of the suitcases found in her "Decor: Suitcases Vintage Style" board.
