The Pinterest Redesign That Reorganizes Your Boards, Makes Searches Easier

Did You See Pinterest's Makeover?

Social-sharing phenomenon Pinterest has changed its look, adding functions that will help DIYers and home decor fans find original tutorials and tips easier and faster.

CEO and co-founder Ben Silbermann announced plans for the redesign earlier this week at the South By Southwest conference held in Austin, saying changes would focus on profile pages and highlight users with similar interests and inspirations, reported CNN on Wednesday. But, we didn't expect the redesign so soon.

Now, you can see where an image was originally pinned from and users who have pinned the same photo from another source. This upgrade's objective is to enhance the sharing and community interactions of the site, according to Mashable. But for us, this gives us the opportunity to connect directly with talented designers and DIYers who've recently inspired us.

Also, we're big proponents of giving credit where credit is due, so we appreciate how the original source is now prominently identified. Plus, this makes the process of finding DIY projects, decor inspiration and cleaning tips more convenient. We'll no longer have to follow a trail of links to find a great tutorial or tips. Thanks, Pinterest!
