Bacon wrapped hot dogs are a popular street food out west and indeed are the official hot dog of the City of Angels. The blogger Foodie Fantasia got her hands on some Hoffy franks and was pleased with the results. She admits, "I know it probably seemed like common sense, but I still had to follow the directions for cooking on the back of the package, which are written pretty precisely and specifically so as not to unravel the bacon wrapped around the franks." She found the franks to be "quite delicious" but also salty and greasy.
