Game Changer in Entertainment: Adele (VIDEO)

In a time of the constantly tweeting and wildly costumed pop stars, Adele came along and reminded us that sometimes, all it takes is genuine talent and depth to sell an album. The singer's second album, "21," was released last January and debuted at number one in the UK as well as on the US Billboard 200 charts. It's broken a number of industry records -- and stayed eleven consecutive weeks at number one in the UK, the longest ever by a female solo artist on the UK Albums Chart. Like her music, Adele herself is vulnerable and straightforward. Notorious for her stage fright, she has said she has become physically sick before shows and she wants to restrict the number of interviews she does to avoid being too annoying. "I don't want to be in everyone's face. I'm a big music fan and I get really pissed off when it gets like that ... and I don't want people to get like that with me," she told Q Magazine. She also told the magazine that she has already started work on a new album.
