Missoni, Iman Receive Rodeo Walk Of Style Awards At Beverly Hills Bash

PHOTOS: Iman Gets Kissed By Quincy & Other Celebrations Of Style In Beverly Hills

On Sunday night, when most Angelenos were at home with HBO or at the very least at the Arclight Theater, others were in Beverly Hills honoring an entire family of fashion and one of the world's most recognizable supermodels.

Last night, Missoni and Iman were graciously inducted into the 'Rodeo Drive Walk of Style' with plaques on Rodeo Drive, each featuring their respective signatures and a personal quote. Missoni's quote reads "Life is more with colors" and Iman's: "Fashion and cinema are global trends... from Hong Kong to Hollywood."

Missoni's signature zigzag knitwear line launched almost 60 years ago and has more than stood the test of time: the Italian luxury brand's recent collection for Target caused near mass-hysteria in the city and reportedly crashed Target's website.

Aside from supermodel fame, Iman is often celebrated both for her success as an entrepreneur and for her extensive humanitarian work. The LA Times notes specifically her work with "the Children's Defense Fund, Action Against Hunger and Raise Hope for Congo. She's an ambassador for Save the Children, helping to raise funds and awareness for the famine in East Africa, in particular her homeland of Somalia." Iman is famously married to rock star David Bowie.

The Rodeo Walk of Style awards began in 2003 and each year honors style giants within the industry for their invaluable contributions. Past inductees include Fred Hayman, Princess Grace (Kelly) of Monaco and Cartier, Valentino Garavani, Manolo Blahnik, James Galanos, Gianni and Donatella Versace, Salvatore Ferragamo, Edith Head, James Acheson and Milena Canonero, Herb Ritts and Mario Testino and Tom Ford. Giorgio Armani received the first award in 2003. Uber-stylist Rachel Zoe presented Iman with her award and music legend Quincy Jones presented the award to the entire Missoni family.

Click on the slideshow below to see who attended the star-studded Sunday evening event (but really the most eye-catching element in our opinion was how many people pulled our their favorite Missoni threads for the occasion).
