Dr. Wendy Troxel is a clinical psychologist and behavioral scientist at the nonprofit, nonpartisan RAND Corporation and an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Pittsburgh, Departments of Psychiatry and Psychology. She is also a certified behavioral sleep medicine specialist, who has clinical expertise on behavioral treatments for insomnia and other sleep disorders. Her research is funded by the National Institutes of Health and focuses on sleep and couples, and the links between sleep and health. She has published articles in top-tier medical and psychiatric journals, and is widely cited in the national and international media for her research.
