Tom O'Neil is the founder of GoldDerby.com, which tracks who'll win the Oscars, Emmys, Grammys and other showbiz awards by pooling the predictions of top experts and thousands of fans. His own greatest prediction: Susan Lucci's ultimate victory at the Daytime Emmys in 1999 after 18 previous defeats. More recently, he was one of the few pundits who foresaw Oscar victories by Meryl Streep and Marion Cotillard.
