Thomas H. Lee

Thomas H. Lee is Leitner Family Professor of International Law at Fordham Law School and Director of the Leitner Center’s Institute of International Security and Humanitarian Law in New York. He is a former U.S. naval intelligence officer.

After receiving his J.D. from Harvard he clerked for the Hon. Michael Boudin of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and for the Hon. David Souter of the U.S. Supreme Court. During law school, he was Articles Chair of the Harvard Law Review. He also worked at the law firms of Munger, Tolles & Olson; Wachtell, Lipton & Rosen; and Weil, Gotshal & Manges. He has taught courses in civil procedure, comparative and U.S. constitutional law, federal courts, international commercial arbitration, international law and international relations theory, international trade, the laws of war, telecommunications law, and the U.S. Supreme Court, at Fordham, Columbia, the University of Virginia, Leiden University (Netherlands), and Sungkyunkwan University (Korea).
