Nationally-featured sportswriter

Scott Janssen is a recent graduate of Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan, completing a Master’s degree in political science with his thesis, The Generational Impact of American Catholic Attitudes on Public Policy Issues. Prior to graduate school, Scott attended The Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan.

Scott’s no-holds-barred blog captured the attention of the ABC television network which almost led to being cast in a bad reality television show (Donny Osmond, anyone?); fortunately, Scott was unable to participate due to law school finals. Scott had another near-brush with the world of television after speaking with an Oprah show producer upon entering an essay contest to win tickets to President Obama’s inauguration, though tickets continued to remain just out of his grasp.

Scott—who has long claimed to be the most humble man to have ever lived—maintains that his considerable student loans accumulate at a rate on par with America’s National Debt Clock, though his family doesn’t find this as charming as he does.

Scott is also a proud graduate of Hackett Catholic Central High School (Class of '01) in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
