Journalist, documentary director, Sam Slovick has been published extensively in a variety of national and international publications including Details, Vibe, Giant, Good, Tar, L.A. Weekly, L.A. Yoga Mag, Neon, Nylon, Slake, The Face, The Advocate, Curve, Angelino and Mission and State.

His new feature documentary, "Radicalized" on the millinieal resistance in the US has been called the discerning voice of a generation film.

His recent work for Mission and State has been called "A perfect representation of the possibilities for the future of journalism in the U.S."

Awards include: Maggies- The Magazine Awards of Western Publishing and World Hunger Year/Harry Chapin & MAGGY award finalist in journalism for LA Weekly’s Skid Row series. Other doc series include - director /writer / producer with “On Skid Row” (Good Magazine/ LINK TV), his transmedia series, “Pavement” is online in at LA Weekly.com as is Scenes From The New Revolution, his 5-part doc series on political resistance for Participant Media's Take Part.
