Rozalia Beica

Bio: Rozalia Beica is responsible for global product management, technology integration and strategic and technical marketing for the Semitool product group in the Silicon Systems Group at Applied Materials. She also leads a consortium group of 16 leading companies from the semiconductor industry. She majored in organic chemical technology, received a M.Sc in chemical engineering and an M.Sc in management of technology. She has held roles as a research scientist, a business development and strategic marketing leader promoting products and technologies, and a technology integrator involved with development of a technology that today is considered to be at the forefront of the industry. Her work has been recognized with awards including R&D Magazine’s international R&D 100 Award as the inventor of one of the 100 most promising technologies of 2006 and today she is a recognized expert in the industry. In her spare time, she plays the piano, composes music, cooks and spends time with her family.
