In 2006, I was selected as the sixth president of Claremont School of Theology. My professional life has been spent in educational administration, including senior positions at University of Southern California and Duke University. My Ph.D. is in American History, where I focused on the development of U.S. biblical criticism in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
