Co-founder, Executive Director, “The Beauty School of Kabul”

Is a business woman and an attorney, specializing in branding and business development strategy for beauty companies. She was the co-founder and Executive Director of the “Kabul Beauty School”, which taught women economic independence in one of the most hostile regions in the world. The school provided education and business guidance to help women develop their beautician skills, which they were already secretly practicing under the Taliban, turning their efforts into full-fledged businesses.

She has been a guest speaker at numerous conferences focusing on women’s issues and economic development including United Nation’s Peace Conference in Geneva, Women in The Middle East Conference, London, and Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development Conference, (OECD) Turkey.
