Pam McDonald is an award-winning artistic, cultural and political consultant, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, who has worked with creative and progressive individuals and organizations around the world. Her personal and professional career has been dedicated to promoting positive change by bringing people together.

Pamela is an avid student of trends and social change. Her commentaries and reports have been published and broadcast in a variety of media venues worldwide.

In addition to consulting, among other professional roles Pamela Mays McDonald was a long-time Director at The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco and the Berkeley Foundation for Opportunities in Information Technology, International Computer Science Institute; Marketing Manager for the San Francisco Giants, Editor-in-Chief of the award-winning online media portal OaklandSeen.com; and Deputy Field Organizer in San Francisco, San Antonio and Miami-Dade County, Florida during the 2008 Presidential campaign. She is currently a member of the California Democratic Party Central Committee and active in local politics. In 2008, she joined the HuffPost blogging team to document the human stories she found on the campaign trail. Since then, she has reported on Occupy Oakland and the Affordable Healthcare Act, among other stories.

As Founder of Cultural Cross Currents, she helps clients make connections and build communities. Writing, strategic planning, political advocacy, events management, outreach, organizing and social media are her specialties.
