Brooklyn-based playwright
Nikole Beckwith is a playwright living in Brooklyn. She is currently in residence at The Public Theater as a member of their Emerging Writers Group and an alum of Ensemble Studio Theatre's Youngblood Playwrights Group, as well as a former associate artist of Atlantic Center for the Arts. Additionally her plays have been heard with LAByrinth Theater Company, The Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, Barrow Street Theater and The Old Vic in London, among others. Nikole recently created an episodic comic strip about her parents divorce, in collaboration with The Civillians' You Better Sit Down; Tales From Our Parents' Divorce and WNYC. She's been making comics in her diary for years and considers them her shortest plays.
