Coordinates NRDC's work on renewable energy

Nathanael Greene is the director of renewable energy policy and coordinates NRDC's work on renewable energy--fuels and power--and policies that will advance them. He spends the lion's share of my time working on biofuels, biopower, wind, solar, and geothermal. Along with a great team from NRDC's land, water, oceans, and climate programs, he tries to understand what these technologies are capable of, what are the research, development, and economic challenges standing in their way, and what standards we need to put in place to make sure they really deliver the environmental benefits they promise. Nathanael received a bachelor's degree in public policy from Brown University and a master's in energy and resources from the University of California at Berkeley. He blogs on NRDC’s Switchboard.
