Matt Littman became fascinated with speechwriting when, at 16, he worked as an intern at the 1984 Democratic National Convention. It was there that Mario Cuomo gave his stirring "Tale of Two Cities" speech, and it was there that Matt stood right in front of the podium, and afterward, shook Governor Cuomo's sweaty hand.
Matt's love of the spoken word brought him to his first speechwriting job, for former Congressman Larry Smith. He then went on to a career in writing, first for television, and then as a speechwriter for clients that include Members of Congress and various elected officials, major corporations, celebrities, philanthropists, and ambassadors.
As an expert in his field, Matt has appeared frequently in various media outlets ranging from the Fox News Channel to NPR, where he provides expert commentary on public speaking and politics.
