Malene Barnett

Malene Barnett is the principal and design director of Malene B, a Brooklyn-based custom carpet company that specializes in globally-inspired carpets for residential, commercial and hospitality environments. Her unique carpets, inspired by her international travels, boldly interpret cultural icons, landscapes and rituals in an entirely fresh and personal way. Her carpets adorn the interiors of several private residences, boutique hotels and colleges around the world. Malene B has been featured in national and international publications and conferences that include TEDx, Interior Design, New York magazine, House Beautiful, and Hospitality Design magazine, The Nate Berkus Show and The Morning Joe.
