Elizabeth Pessin

International health researcher, educator and mentor

Elizabeth Pessin is currently living in New York City while pursuing her Ed.D. in Health Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. Her ongoing research interests are in culturally competent mental, emotional and spiritual health. Elizabeth works as the Doctoral Research Fellow for the Office of International Affairs at Teachers College, Columbia University. Elizabeth has a Master of Science degree in Global Strategic Communications from Florida International University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations with a minor in Education from Florida Gulf Coast University. She is a national facilitator of the 'BodyImage3D' program, and a facilitator of the 'ShineGirls' program.
