My name is Kerry Saretsky and I was born in New York City to a New Yorker father and a Parisian mother by way of Marseille. If there are two more food-blessed or food-obsessed places in the world, then I don’t know what they are. I learned to cook mostly at my mother’s wooden kitchen table, and partly at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. And gourmande that I am, my mission is to bring French foods and flavors to the American table, in the same easy, comforting, chic way I grew up eating them at home. I began my writing career shortly after graduating from Princeton in 2005, and started my blog French Revolution in 2008 as a test kitchen for renovated French classics and my French-American culinary patois. I hope you will enjoy eating these recipes as much as I do, making them your own and having fun with them. Bon app!
