Founder and Publisher, Kales Press

Kenneth Kales is founder and publisher of Kales Press, a W. W. Norton affiliate.

Incorporated in 2000, Kales Press is a publisher of fine books rich in quality content and aesthetics. We strive to publish books that make a difference. Our emphasis is on serious nonfiction such as science, history, biography, and art. The scope of our program includes publishing the most distinguished authors we are capable of. For example, authors Kales Press has published include His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Shirin Ebadi, Nobel Laureate Christiane Nusslein-Volhard, Pulitzer Prize winner Robert Coles M.D., and United States Ambassador Henry Villard. Institutions Kales Press has co-published with include The Smithsonian Institution, The Library of Congress, and The Royal Collection.

By searching the world over for the best quality works we can find, even those in foreign languages which we then have translated, we offer an opportunity to open discussion on some of the most important topics of our day.

Overall, our emphasis is always on quality. As we grow, we look forward to reinventing ourselves with quality as the basis for our motivation.
Our most recent publication is Amazing Rare Things: The Art of Natural History in the Age of Discovery by Sir David Attenborough in association with The Royal Collection.
