Joel Sucher has been making documentary films for close to a half-century as a co-founder of Pacific Street Films (together with Steven Fischler). Among other accolades they were, at the time, the youngest filmmakers to be awarded Guggenheim Fellowships in Film (1978). Since 2011, Joel Sucher has also been writing/blogging for a variety of platforms including American Banker, In These Times, Huffington Post and Observer. com. He's currently working on a memoir titled, "Intent to Accelerate: Musings on the Foreclosure Crisis" .
