Jeffrey Small is an author, speaker, entrepreneur, and theologian. His debut novel, The Breath of God, won the Nautilus Book Award Gold Medal for Best Fiction and was hailed as "a thought-provoking masterpiece" by RT Book Reviews and "visionary fiction" by Library Journal. The novel held the unusual position of being the #1 Political Thriller and #1 Religious Studies book on Amazon. His second novel, The Jericho Deception, won the IPPY Book Awards Gold Medal for Best Suspense/Thriller, was lauded as “a kinetic, engrossing thriller...a must read” by Kirkus Reviews, and soared to #8 of all fiction books on Amazon. He is also the author of an academic textbook on Christian - Buddhist discourse entitled God as the Ground of Being: Tillich and Buddhism in Dialogue. Jeffrey is also a popular blogger on the Huffington Post, an adjunct professor at Emory University, and a nationally acclaimed speaker on religion in the 21st century. He graduated from Yale University with a B.A. summa cum laude, Harvard Law School with a J.D. magna cum laude, and Oxford University in England where he earned a Masters in the Study of Religions. Jeffrey is also the founder and CEO of MDH Partners, an Atlanta-based real estate private equity firm with over 100 office, industrial, and retail properties across seven states throughout the Southeast. Active in the Episcopal Church, Jeffrey has studied Yoga in India, practiced Buddhist meditation in Bhutan, explored the ancient temples in Egypt, and journeyed throughout the Holy Land.
