Jeffrey G. Katz

Jeffrey G. Katz has served as Chief Executive Officer and President since July 2006. During his time at LeapFrog he has overseen a global restructuring of the company and has lead its transition towards developing Web-integrated products that focus on core business areas in reading and educational gaming. Prior, Mr. Katz served as the Chairman and Founding Chief Executive Officer of Orbitz, Inc. from 2000 to 2004. From 1997 to 2000, Mr. Katz was President and Chief Executive Officer of Swissair. From 1980 to 1997, he served in a variety of roles at American Airlines, including Vice President of American Airlines and President of the Computerized Reservation System Division of SABRE. Prior to their recent merger with Delta Airlines, Mr. Katz served on the board of directors of Northwest Airlines, and previously served on the boards Friendster.com and City of Hope National Cancer Research Institute. Mr. Katz received a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Davis, and holds M.S. degrees from both Stanford University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
