Jeannie Borin is president and founder of College Connections, LLC. Serving college-bound teens as well as prospective graduate students, College Connections provides quality and personalized college advice and counseling for students during the college selection process. Jeannie began College Connections as an independent college admission consultant and quickly grew the company to become one of the largest and most trusted resources for college counseling. With numerous consultants based around the country, the company is proud to report that 98% of College Connections students have been accepted at one of their top three college choices. A recognized expert and well-respected speaker and author, Jeannie is a noted writer for The Huffington Post, and has been quoted in publications and by media outlets such as Time, CNN, The Wall Street Journal, Fox Business, and The Philadelphia Inquirer. She has been awarded Professional Membership with the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), the most creditable educational consulting organization in the United States, and is also a Professional Member of the National and Western Associations of College Admissions Counselors, as well as the Higher Educational Consultants Association (HECA). Jeannie received her Master’s Degree in Counseling and Education and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology/Psychology, both from the University of California, Los Angeles. She mentored graduate students through the UCLA counselor training program and is state certified. Jeannie holds a teaching credential issued for life and is a Juilliard School of Music alumna. She has firsthand experience in selective admission auditions for top-tier performing arts programs.
