Jayne Lyn Stahl

Jayne Lyn Stahl is a widely published poet, essayist, playwright, and screenwriter, member of PEN American Center, and PEN USA.

In January, 2005, Ms. Stahl was awarded a California Arts Council grant to organize writers throughout California, and she founded Writers-at-Large, an advocacy group, to speak out against harassment of the press, First Amendment infractions, and in favor of a federal shield law.

She has subsequently been working hard to see her feature-length screenplay, "Shakespeare & Company" through development.

Stahl currently resides in California where she is an adjunct instructor of English.
